{"players":[{"id":320,"firstName":"Marcus","lastName":"Stoinis","middleName":"Peter","initials":"M.P.","displayName":"Marcus Stoinis","videoId":6,"type":"Batter","dob":"16/08/1989","battingHandId":"Right","bowlingHandId":"Right","bowlingTypeId":"Pace","battingHand":"Right","bowlingHand":"Right","bowlingType":"Pace","birthPlace":"Perth, Western Australia","imageUrl":"https://static-files.cricket-australia.pulselive.com/headshots/320-camedia.png","height":"185","didyouKnow":"In May 2016, Stoinis achieved his career best T20 figures against the Mumbai Indians, returning 4-15 for Kings XI Punjab.","bio":"<p>Debuting for his home state of Western Australia as a 19-year-old, Marcus Stoinis eventually moved to Victoria in 2012 seeking more opportunities as a young cricketer.</p>\n<p>The allrounder didn’t take long to make his mark in the Sheffield Shield, with a breathtaking 170 against Tasmania in the 2013-14 season, followed by topping the run-scorers’ list for his state in 2014-15.</p>\n<p>Within a year, Stoinis made his ODI &amp; T20I debuts before being left out for nearly a year and a half from both formats.</p>\n<p>However his consistent performances in first-class cricket earned him an ODI recall; a career-defining comeback which saw him smash 146 not out and claim three wickets against New Zealand.
